All of our participants attend 12 step meetings. They find freedom through actively working steps with a sponsor. So many of the people we work with have deep rooted hurt, guilt, anger and shame. Through working the steps we get to the root of the problem. We have witnessed so many lives change. Real lasting change through working a 12 step program.

We encourage all of our residents to seek out a spiritual path in their recovery. Through an introduction or even a reintroduction to a spiritual approach for individuals who may have a relationship with God or perhaps want to let go of the beliefs that have kept them from God for Many years. We attend church weekly and there is an approved Bible study weekly. We do not teach a doctrine and we are not a religious program but we do ask that residents have a willingness to attend. We would never turn someone away for their lack of belief. Our hope is that each resident finds a path of healing whatever that may look like for them.

MD is 4 sessions that dig into thought patterns that can keep us from ending up in the same situations. If we can change our thinking we can change our lives.

ASC offers a 9 week class to help our participants take and look at past decisions and help them make a future plan of how to stay on the right track and not fall back into old thought patterns.
